www.constipationremediesblog.com Babies seem to struggle with a bowel movement each time they have it at first. This is not because they have newborn baby constipation, so don’t panic and call the doctor on that fact alone. It takes a while for babies to get use to the things that their bodies can and will do after they are born. What seems like a struggle to burp, pass gas, have a bowel movement, or anything else is just them getting use to what is going on with their bodies. Don’t assume constipation is an issue unless other things are happening. However, babies that are screaming and not making progress should be taken in. If your baby is struggling and does not go, see if it happens again within the same day. If that happens, you may want to consider newborn baby constipation and call your doctor for more advice. It is a good idea to keep track of how much and when your baby goes, and also how much they have eaten. Do this for the first few months, at the least, because if there is a problem, they are going to ask you about this information. If you can tell them how many ounces they have ingested and when they last went, the doctor can make a quicker diagnosis and offer advice.
