My baby cousin who just turned one has a 102. 4 fever… I have no idea what to do. We gave her some infant tylenol but it doesn’t seem to work.. Any home remedies? Thank you
If the Tylenol did nothing to help, then place a call to her physician immediately. The most likely have an answering service to take emergency calls like this one.Infant Motrin works better, and you can alternate giving Motrin and Tylenol every 3 hours. If she is having other symptoms as well it may be a sign of infection, such as runny nose. If not, then my son’s doctor says it’s very normal for little ones to get fevers. You could also give her a lukewarm bath. Don’t put rubbing alcohol on her though, it’s actually harmful.
