I brought my 6 month old baby girl to the doctors yesterday and she has a yeat rash, not a yeast infection. The doctor told me to use monistat, is that okay? Or should I use something else?
and what kind of monistat if thats what I should use?

If the doc told you to use that than it’s probably okay. If you’re not comfortable, get a second opinion from another physician.Yes, Monistat is perfectly okay. Once it’s gone use a moisture barrier, like lanolin, to prevent it from returning. Also avoid the use of baby powder and corn starch as both can make the rash worse and the corn starch will encourage it to worsen.
